Spring time cleansing (part 1)

This is Nut Tree Adventurer Reporting to you about Spring Cleaning.....
We always clean the house so why not the body, mind and soul!


Although the weather is not spring like the body feels it a good time to cleanse.

Their are many cleanses that have been used over time, most people can't afford the time and effort put in to a comprehensive detox where you might fly to Thailand for a 10 day detox. Some authors recommend colemas, others colonics. You can choose, water fasts, juice fasting, vegetables only the list is endless. Today I will talk about a very well known detox system called "The Master Cleanser" by Stanley Burroughs.

"For the novice and the advanced student alike, cleansing is basic for the elimination of every kind of disease. The purpose is to simplify the cause and the correction of all disorders, regardless of the name or names."
"The lemonade diet, about the be described, has successfully and consistently demonstrated it's eliminative and building ability.
Lemons and limes are the richest source of minerals and viatmins of any food or foods known to man, and they are available the year round."


Purpose

"To disolve and eliminate toxins and congestion that have formed in any part of the body.
To cleanse the kidneys and the digestive system.
To purify the glands and cells throughout the entire body
To eliminate all unusable waste and hardened material in the joints and muscles.
To relieve pressure and irritation of the nerves, arteries, and blood vessels.
To build a healthy blood stream.
To keep youth and elasticity regardless of our years.

How Often

"Follow the diet for a minimum of 10 days or more- up to 40 days and beyond may be safely followed for extremely serious cases. The diet has all the nutrition needed during this time."

How to make it

2Tbsp lemon or lime juice (approx. 1/2 lemon)
2Tbsp genuine maple syrup (not maple flavored sugar syrup)preferably organic
1/10th Tsp cayenne pepper (red Pepper) or to taste
Water, medium hot (spring or purified water)

Prepare all ingredients then add 10oz of warm or spring water.

You will be taking this mixture up to 6 times a day and more if required.

  1. I discovered this one about 40 years ago and find it quite valuable.
    It is espeially good for those who suffer from low blood sugar such as myself. If you feel yourself getting weak or tired ;just take a drink and your up and going instantly.
